Skidmore offers multiple ways to apply: the Common Application, Coalition Application, and QuestBridge Application. The deadline to apply for Early Decision I is Nov. 1 and the deadline for Early Decision II and Regular Decision is Jan. 8.

Skidmore meets 100% of demonstrated need for accepted students. Put simply, we take the cost of attendance - family contribution = your financial aid offer. This simple calculation means we don't gap students, taking the guesswork out of college affordability.

Skidmania is a distinctly Skidmore tradition. Each year, student and faculty musicians perform music from 50 years ago. The shows always sell out and proceeds from ticket sales go to local charities. Bring on 1975!

85% of students complete an internship or professional experience during their Skidmore career (75% complete more than one). You'll work with our Career Development Center for career prep or directly with your faculty as soon as the spring semester of your first year to get hands on with research.

Experiential learning

We just asked the Class of 2025! These fresh graduates are headed to Amazon, Boston Children's Hospital, CVS Health Corporation, Ernst & Young LLP (EY), Fidelity Investments, Paramount Global, and more. Many are also continuing their education, going on to schools like Columbia University, Northwestern University, and Yale University.

Every Friday! Our award-winning menu is always a delight, but on Fridays in the Murray-Aikins Dining Hall you can enjoy an array of tenders, including gluten-free and meatless, alongside the best fries you've ever had and macaroni and cheese. The salad bar, deli, global, and other stations are also open!
